Campus for Creative Aging
Welcome to the Campus for Creative Aging, a learning community where older adults come together to share, expand, and unlock their capacity for creative expression, lifelong learning, personal growth, and living with purpose.
As a hub for knowledge and connection, the Campus offers programming to explore passions, purposes, and possibilities:
- educational programs
- computer training
- workshops
- discussion groups
- lectures
- special events
- information resources
In addition to its own programming, the Campus collaborates with like-minded organizations throughout Berrien, Van Buren, and Cass counties to expand its impact region-wide.
Kudos to Collaboration
The Campus for Creative Aging is an exciting, new initiative of the Region IV Area Agency on Aging, Inc. It was developed through a series of visionary focus groups that began in 2017. The Agency is extremely grateful for the participation and passion of the members of the community who provided their time, effort, and input.
A New Vision
As the elder population continues to grow, a new vision of aging has been emerging, one that promises a kaleidoscope of opportunities for individual fulfillment. In response to this demographic and societal shift, the Region IV Area Agency on Aging, Inc., created the Campus for Creative Aging. Through the Campus and its region-wide partnerships, our ultimate goal is to ensure that older adults of Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties are seen as vital resources in their communities and are recognized and respected for living purposeful, engaged and personally rewarding lives.
